Turkey is set to become the world's 12th largest economy based on purchasing power parity, vowed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Speaking in front of members of his ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party's parlimentarian bloc, Erdoğan said he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin face-to-face, but did not specify the date of the meeting. Erdoğan said that Turkey’s current account deficit will drop below $30 billion by year-end, and the country's unemployment rate is set to hit single digits in 2019, promising that Turkey will break export record by year-end with $170 billion in exports.
